Since 1990, he has earned 10 Gold Medals from the prestigious Promax  and New York International Radio Festivals, including the 1994 “Best of Show” Grand Award over 1,380 entries from 29 nations.

In 1997, Michael and production partner, Groove Addicts, were  presented with a Gold Medal at the Promax Awards  and  a World Medal at the New York International Radio Festivals for their sound design for the BBC’s Radio One Network, London.

In 1998, the team was awarded another Promax Gold for “Jingle Package of the Year” for Smooth Jazz WVMV, Detroit V 98.7.

1999 made it 3 in a row, earning the duo another Promax  “Jingle Package of the Year” for Smooth Jazz KTWV Los Angeles The Wave.

His national voice-over work has included McDonalds, Shell Oil, Goodyear, NBC, the Playboy Channel, the Disney Channel, Warner Brothers Records and more.

Production clients include: ABC, BBC, CBS, NBC, UPN, Fox TV, Disney, the Family Channel, TV One (Belgium), Rick Dees, American Top 40, American Country Countdown, Warner Brothers Records, Zebra Records, Esquire, Magazine, Mad Magazine, plus major music producers Groove Addicts, Who Did That Music?, Music Inc., Lubinsky/Romeo Music and many more.

Leaving the station in 1983, he fulfilled a lifelong dream of building and operating his own recording studio, creating both music and commercial production.

In 1985, Michael was asked to develop a broadcast division for HLC/Killer Music, a respected music production company best known for their work with Levis 501 Blues, Gatorade and Wheaties. The HLC/Killer Music Broadcast Division soon earned a reputation as one of the country's premier broadcast jingle outlets.

Within 4 years, Michael became  VP/GM  and Producer for the most ambitious project in HLC’s history, Killer Tracks, a 40 CD Production Music Library. A success, the library continues to serve as a favorite means of source music worldwide.

While at The Wave, Michael also produced and hosted the televised country music video show “America’s New Country”, which aired in over 100 markets from 1991 - 1994. Additionally, his Western and Western Swing compilations are featured at the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum.
